In the lines of business we are active, we accept as our duty to increase the environmental awareness of the people, institutions and organizations which we interact directly and indirectly, to fulfil their environmental responsibilities towards their local and regional neighbours, create systems based on the effective use of the environment and natural resources and ensure their continuity.
In line with this policy;
– We conduct our activities in accordance environmental legislation and international standards.
– We are committed managing and reducing environmental impacts arising from our business activities and to continuously improve our environmental performance.
– We aim to reduce the use of water and natural resources in all our operations and to use them in the most efficient way possible. We treat and discharge water emissions (wastewater) in accordance with legal obligations.
– We conduct studies to reduce, re-evaluate and recycle the wastes generated as a result of our activities at their source; We dispose of it as stipulated by the legislation.
– We conduct studies to reduce energy use and increase energy efficiency at every stage of our operations
– We organize trainings to raise awareness of our employees.
– We monitor and control our environmental performance within the framework of our Environmental Management System. We constantly monitor our operations, identify areas for improvement and set targets.
– We continuously improve our environmental performance by taking into account the feedbacks conveyed by our employees about our environmental policy and activities during the annual meetings and through existing communication channels.
In this direction, as TQ SHIPPING, we will determine our Environmental Targets, constantly review our targets and spread this policy among all our employees / subcontractors, in this direction, we will comply with the current customer requirements, legal requirements / legislation that we are obliged regarding our environmental aspects, which are other requirements, continuous improvement and pollution.
